Here are recent promo photos I did for the City Jazz Trio band, helping them get more bookings and promote the jazz website project.
The guys wanted to show themselves as friendly but also professional,since they do a range of concerts at weddings, corporate events, launch parties and birthday parties.
We had two sets in the studio: formal, stage-like, which will help the potential booker see how they'll look in the venue, plus a less formal one matched with casual clothes, to present the band's laid-back side.
The colours chosen here are contrasting well with the double bass, guitar and sax. During the photoshoot, we worked on a range of expressions, reviewed the results to see what to tweak, played music and joked on anything from Japanese food to TV shows, to better show the Trio's members' personalities.
