Ingrid Plum opened the Saturday session of Daylight Music series at the beautiful 19c. Union Chapel in Islington. She is creating work that combines folk, contemporary classical music and sound art, using delays, effects and building up the atmosphere.
Ingrid is researching into folk traditions and combines them with her voice, field recordings and electronics. After her performance, I was photographing her "work station", which included the objects she is using to create her music, among them being a small shell.
Her expressive and fun approach makes for a sound feast.
