Aiming for impact, knowledge, experience.
The challenge was to use the right angle for the lighting and avoid reflections in glasses, which are distracting for the audience and create a barrier between the audience and the person on the photograph.
Working on the lighting diagram prior the photoshoot I decided on the angle and distance of lights from the photographed subject. I planned several lights on set to light the person and the background too, which adds depth to the photo. The posing had to be confident but also approachable, matching the person's role.
